Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, J. Johnson discovered at a very young age that he loved to make people laugh. Charting his vision, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his calling in performing where he soon had reoccurring concerts at the, Comedy Store, Conga Room, and Melrose Theatre. Promptly, he received an offer to perform in a three month European comedic tour that was extended for 13 years.
While touring in Amsterdam, J. Johnson invited comedian Eddie Griffin to perform at his comedy show at the infamous Comedy Café. Griffin extended the invitation for J. Johnson to entertain and host at the sold-out “Comedy Concert” on the Pepsi Stage.
And now back from his European/west coast tour performing live in Milwaukee WI.
