More than likely, if you attended any private school in Baltimore, then your school had student affinity groups. An important organization to many of the minority students throughout their upper school journey was the Black Awareness Club/Black Student Union. This was the place where students had the elite experience of creating some of life’s best relationships and events in the small black communities that developed in our schools. Those who went to private schools Remember how fun the BAC parties used to be, how much you couldn’t wait to see all your friends at the Diversity Conference, Or even the contentment in just getting together in a safe environment at BAC meetings?
We have all graduated and gone on to do a variety of things through the years. There have been class reunions, weddings, and even small gatherings between friends but there has yet to be a reunion that reconnects everyone from the various schools and classes.
Necole Jackson (RPCS, 2007) and Denea curry (RPCS, 2006) are inviting you to THE BAC reunion. A chance to reconnect, dance a little, have a couple drinks, and give back to someone who's now (or a recent graduate) a part of an organization that was so special to us and our private school experience. We might not be able to party like we used to when we were teenagers but we still know how to have a good time with good people. So, let's do it!
*Like the BAC dances, outside guests are welcome to attend.
*Tickets are required to attend.
*The scholarship amount is based on the number of tickets sold. Please purchase ASAP.
*Alcohol and food are sold separately.
