CONTINUING a great tradition of over 20 years, Marion Correctional's Ministry of Theatre will again host our annual Christmas Play for members of the community.
This year’s Christmas Play, “The Reunion" takes us back with a musical contest at Christmas in 1950's America. Family holiday drama ensues and our loveable characters hear again the message of Christ's Birth.
There will be performances daily at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Registration is through this website.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Theatre in a prison?
Yes... For nearly 20 years MCI's musical dramas (written and acted by inmates) have impacted families and groups with the good news of Jesus Christ. In recent years as many as 1,200 guests have attended over the four day production run!
How do I register a group of people?
It's easier if each person registers themselves, but.... If you have been asked to register a group, or even just another person besides yourself, you must do so by entering each person as a separate registration (and just use your email if you want). Do NOT register just yourself and enter a request for multiple tickets!
You can also forward registration info to them by clicking the Email button right below the regsitration section. If you need to, please email Chaplain Kola or Chaplain Smith for a "cheat sheet" for help on registering a group.
Do I need a ticket?
We get the names for our event Gate Pass direct from Eventbrite. You do not need to bring your ticket, but may print it out as a reminder for yourself.
When should I get there and where may I park?
Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the start to allow time for processing into the facility. There is room for car and bus parking.
Is there any cost?
There is no cost, but if you wish to make a donation (gladly accepted!) you may bring a check or money order made out to "MCI Ministry of Theatre".
Are there restrictions?
Just a few. Adults and children age 8 and older may attend. Bring only your photo ID and your carkey with you. Leave everything else in your car. Dress modestly. NOTE - Only life-saving meds such as asthma and heart pills may enter the facility. Make sure you bring any medical cards you have for artificial joints, etc.
