September 12, 2012

Join us for an afternoon symposium examining the state of play for retail energy market competition.

The event will explore how retail competition for electricity and natural gas is thriving and growing in the states that allow consumers to choose among competing suppliers, and how economic conditions are making the competitive model the inevitable option for state policy makers seeking to promote and protect the best interests of energy consumers.

The discussion will address the value for consumers from retail choice, the future of retail energy competition, and the latest innovative product and service offerings. Speakers will include leading state and federal utility regulators and a keynote speech by Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley.
