Description
To achieve our mission of building a world free from limiting stereotypes, gender norms, and social injustices, JENNIFER SIEBEL NEWSOM, Co-Chairs ALLISON BLOOM and GAVIN TURNER, our Board of Directors, and our Host Committee invite you to celebrate the fifth anniversary of The Representation Project and our film, Miss Representation.
About The Evening
It's party time! We will kick off the night with a short program that will premiere new multimedia content written and produced by The Representation Project, honor Regina K. Scully for all her extraordinary support of the organization and the larger movement, and fundraise with a special request by Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom. Then, it’s mix, mingle, and enjoy.
Guests will head to The Vestry, the award-winning restaurant adjacent to The Chapel, to mingle and dine on passed gourmet nibbles and small plates from a selection of food stations, and imbibe from hosted premier-stocked bars.

About the organizer

The Representation Project inspires individuals and communities to challenge and overcome limiting stereotypes so that everyone, regardless of gender, race, class, age, sexual orientation, or circumstance, can fulfill their human potential.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom founded The Representation Project in response to the overwhelming public demand for ongoing education and social action in support of her first film Miss Representation. We've since become well known for releasing Jennifer's second directorial documentary, The Mask You Live In, and campaigns such as #AskHerMore and #NotBuyingIt.
