Event description

Description

In 2017 Victoria has introduced the ‘Reportable Conduct Scheme’ as an amendment to the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005. The scheme will be overseen by the Commission for Children and Young People (CCYP).

Phase 2 applies to all religious bodies; providers of overnight camps for children; residential facilities (boarding schools); and organisations that provide private health or disability services. Phase 2 comes into force from January 1st, 2018.

So, churches, mission organisations, camp sites, outdoor education program providers are included in Phase 2, it is vital that you are up to date with the changes, so come down, get informed and ready to hit the ground running for 2018!

***Please enter the venue via the Mountain Highway gates***

GJ Insurance Consulting is facilitating this session with SJL Consulting (Stephen Leslie) providing a workshop to update you on this important information.
