Event description
Our classic retreat supports women of all ages and stages, striving to balance home and work, on the cultivation of grace and grit.

About this Event

Not your average day in the woods. But who wants average?

We invite you to spend a few days building a community with other women who are in search of the same solace, peace and challenge as you; they want to unearth their gritty badass while tuning into their unbelievable grace. Sounds awesome, right? That's because it is (obviously we're super biased).

This will be our sixth retreat and to celebrate, we're changing it up (quite a bit). We're exploring a beautiful new location AND extending our time together. We will come together at Yasodhara Ashram, an incredible spot located on the shores of Kootenay Lake, BC. You will fall in love with this place (trust me, I did as soon as I arrived back in 2014). We cannot wait to take you on this adventure.

What happens at our retreats?

Our beautifully curated retreats will gently expose you to the concept of cultivating grit and the importance of grace to help weather the inevitable storms of life. You will receive a workbook developed and designed to support your personal exploration of grit and grace. This may elicit feelings of momentary discomfort, but we need this energizing emotion to engage in real, badass change.

You will yoga. You will walk. You will breathe in nature. You will eat. You will community (yes, it's a verb now).

The goal of this weekend is to encourage calm and rest, but also to help you initiate and / or write your Personal Manifesto. This is a declaration of your overarching life purpose; the macro goal that drives all micro goals; a declaration of your essence. This is no easy feat and requires time. You may only walk away with an inkling as opposed to a fully fledged Manifesto - that's OK. This weekend and workbook will help you kickstart this exciting process.

Let this be a weekend of rest, laughter, self-discovery, and connection. Let this be a moment for you.

Who is this for?

We like to think our retreats are for everyone, but they aren't (let's be honest). While anyone can gain benefit and gain insight from our time together, the following attributes are typical of women who get the most out of our classic retreat:

  • Already started on their wellness journey, but ready for a deeper challenge
  • Willing to open and be vulnerable in a group setting
  • Ready to dig in and challenge their own biases and narratives about who they are and what they're capable of
  • Longing for a community of other like-minded, open and compassionate women who are ready to lean in and support

To hear from past retreat participants and their respective journey, please visit my website.
