Event description
This year's Summit focuses on Regenerative Governing, working on transforming bias and its effects in social justice

About this event

Regenerative Governing

What is Regenerative Governance? What would it be like if your company or organization’s board of directors worked from a regenerative paradigm? This 2020 Regenerative Business Summit will reveal the 5 key questions that all Boards of Directors must engage to transform the businesses, non-profits, and communities that they govern.

Drawing from 40 years of experience working with Boards of companies like Dupont and Colgate, the Summit will focus on how to transform unconscious biases and their effects on businesses and social justice. How can Boards steer change in society by changing the way they make daily decisions? Is it possible to govern effectively beyond the influence of a charismatic founder or CEO? How can boards ensure financial effectiveness in times of massive global disruption? Join us with your Board of Directors to find out.

November 17, 2020 from 9:00 am PT - 3:00 pm PT.

Who should attend and why:

Teams of Directors from

  • Corporate Boards
  • Non-Profit Boards
  • Community organizations and membership associations

The best thinking will happen with at least 3 board members from your organization participating together. You will engage in disruptive working sessions to advance individual and team capabilities so that your team can lead profound change, not just in the business, but in the industry and society. This is possible because of development of living systems critical thinking coupled with strategic actions at an individual and collective Board level.

Board Members Only Invited. Not appropriate for business managers or consultants.

Registration:

$597 for first 3 board members; $199 for each additional board member. Minimum, one 3 member ticket required. Board Members Only Invited. Not appropriate for business managers or consultants.

Make sure you are a good fit before paying. No refunds.

Additional questions we will explore:

  • If a governing body were to pursue a Regenerative path, what would they work on that is different than a “Mission-Driven” or “Sustainable” path?
  • Is there a difference between for-profit and not-for-profit boards? Is the governing of commercial enterprises fundamentally different from charities and community groups? What about philanthropic foundations or activist organizations seeking change? Associations or membership organizations with Boards?
  • Is governing a ‘universal process’ or highly different in each of these contexts? What would make governing “regenerative” for each of them?
