Event description

Description

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Dallas invites you to join us for a critical presentation, co-sponsored by SMU Embrey Human Rights Program, on the current refugee crisis and what the United States can do in response to the global crisis at home and abroad.

4 - 5:30pm - Panel Discussion led by David Miliband, Free with RSVP (located at Champions Club at the Miller Events Center)

In this limited-seating engagement, participate in a stimulating conversation between David Miliband, President & CEO of the International Rescue Committee; Ryan Crocker, former United States Ambassador to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Kuwait, and Lebanon; and Clay Jenkins, Dallas County Judge and community leader.

Please join us to learn more about the work of the IRC in serving refugees around the world and in Dallas. This discussion by experts will give an in-depth look into how the community can make a lasting impact on history.

Proceeds will support the International Rescue Committee’s critical humanitarian work in Dallas.

Those who cannot join us may make contributions online.
