A Team series fitness competition created by an Army ranger hosted by Palangi+. Teams of 4, 2 females and 2 males, will compete in 6 workouts. The top 5 teams will compete in a final workout for the top 3 finishing places and prizes.
Workout 1: The Dead Lift- 10 minutes
Each team will have ten minutes for each team member to get a peak single deadlift. Each athlete will have as many attempts as they want or need. The highest lift for each individual is added together for team total. Each team will have 600lbs of various weights and 2 barbells per team. One person lifts at a time.
Workout 2: The Assault- 10 minutes
1 bike per team- Any athlete can accumulate calories, switch teammates as needed or wanted. Total calories accumulated as a team at the end of ten minutes if final score.
Workout 3: Swing Away- 3 minutes
With a running clock, teams will have 1 minute at each weight to swing away and accumulate points. One athlete works at a time. Switch athletes as needed or wanted.
1st minute- max kb swings 30lbs bell= 1 pt
2nd minute- max kb swings 50lbs= 3 pt
3rd minute- max kb swings 70lbs= 5pt
Workout 4: Burps- 3 minutes
Each team will have 3 minutes to accumulate max burpees. One person can work at a time. Switch as needed or wanted.
Workout 5: Mystery workout- 1 female, 1 male must volunteer for this 2 minutes workout which will be disclosed the week before the competition.
Workout 6: Strong Man- 3 minutes
Each team will have 3 minutes to take either a 50lbs or 100lbs strong man bag and get it over a 4ft yoke. Work as a team or indivudal. One bag crosses over the yoke at a time
50lbs sandbag = 1pt
100lbs sandbag= 2pt
Final Workout: Top 5 Teams- Workout will be revealed the day of competition.
