About this event
Come join BMNT's exciting panel, The Race for Autonomy: Navigating a New Battlefield, on Friday, June 24th at 1pm EST, as we aim to dissect the immense potential and challenges of autonomy with leading experts in the domain!
New and looming geopolitical crises highlight the urgent need for the Department of Defense to deploy autonomous capabilities efficiently and effectively. The DoD, however, can not just rely on itself to create these technologies, but must bring in key leaders from industry and academia. This panel aims to cultivate the necessary conversation on the development, limitations, and sourcing of autonomous capabilities in unmanned vehicles and weapons systems, through discussions with key leaders in the space of autonomy:
- LTG (Ret.) Jack Shanahan: former Director of the Joint AI Center (2018-2020)
- Christine Moon: Co-Founder and President of BlueSpace.ai
- Ikram Mansori: Leading Innovation and Security Expert
- Dr. Deji Coker: Autonomy Portfolio Manager, Office of Naval Research
The panel will take place live on Zoom, and there will be a Q&A period.
