Event description

**This is an ONLINE group beginning on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 and meeting weekly until March 7, 2018**

"I won't glorify or romanticize heartbreak. For me it was a kind of death and I was forced to keep living."- Warsan Shire

Your heart is broken.

But you’re NOT alone.

Welcome to the Queer Broken Hearts Club, a four-week online group dedicated to nourishing, witnessing, and healing your beautiful broken heart.

Do you find yourself tracking who you called during your last melt-down because you’re worried that you’re going to burn out your loving and supportive friends?

Do you feel like no matter how present and amazing and supportive those friends are, you still feel like you need more support?

Do you feel so disconnected from your eroticism that you barely remember that you do, in fact, still have genitals?

Do you find that your eroticism is entwined with your ex--their touch, their memory, their presence still held in your body, infusing your pleasure with pain and grief, and you wonder if you’ll ever be able to masturbate again without thinking of them?

Are you frustrated by the irony that right now you can see so clearly the wounds and the patterns that sabotage you in relationships over and over again, but you simply don’t have the slack or the support to do the deep healing that could liberate you from those patterns?

Then the Queer Broken Hearts Club is for you.

You are a resilient creature. Aaaaaannnnddd…your nervous system has its limits. In the QBHC you will learn tools and techniques to nourish and restore your resilience, keeping you afloat so you can continue to navigate the sea of your grief, not be drowned by it.

And you don’t have to do it alone. We have group meetings to allow you to be held in your grief and your healing, and to hold others who are going through the same (or a similar) thing. I’m a firm believer in the profound power of being witnessed in our healing (and our learning and…well, everything really). I simply don’t believe that humans were meant to do this work in isolation. I also believe that in the deepest recesses of our grief lies the potential for not just healing, but for nothing short of transformation. And that’s a lot of work! You deserve all the help you can get.

When and how does the club meet?

We meet online via zoom video call on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm beginning on February 14 and ending on March 7, 2018 (a total of four weekly gatherings).

What kind of investment does the course require?

Your time investment for the course is 90 minutes weekly for our online group video sessions and approximately 30 minutes 3 times per week to explore your Pleasure and Embodiment Practice.

Your financial investment is $125.

I still have questions. How do I get more info or help deciding if this group is for me?

Call or email me to schedule a 20-minute phone call to find out!
