Event description

For several years now I’ve run the London and Dublin Traders Forum – a once-a-year all-day event for Traders to come together, learn and socialise with each other.

Next years London Traders Forum will be on Saturday 5th October 2019 in Central London. Put the date in your diary and keep your eyes peeled for details and early-bird opportunities.

In the meantime the next event will be the Q1 Online Traders Forum on Saturday 12th January

This is a new initiative from traders, for traders. The idea is for it to be a short, intensive 3 hour online seminar that covers various aspects of the 4M’s of Trading: Markets, Method, Money and Myself. The idea is for you to be able to learn some new trading ideas, whilst in the comfort of your own home, and without sacrificing your entire weekend.

The plan is for there to be one Online Traders Forum the first Saturday of Q1, Q2 & Q3 with the London Traders Forum at the start of Q4 the main all day event.

For the Q1 Event we’ll be focussing on markets in 2019 and establishing a good trading plan for the year ahead. We have the following speakers:

Kevin Barry will be providing us with his usual broad ranging and insightful view of global markets. His market analysis piece is always worth the entrance fee alone. Kevin has a fantastic ability to explain the intermarket relationships across the globe and how best to utilise that information to build a useful trading and investment plan

Paul Wallace from and founder of The London Traders Network will be showing what he’ll be looking at going into 2019 and which particular FX pairs and Indices he’ll be looking to focus on. He’ll also be sharing a simple intra-day trading plan to give traders some insight into how constructing a plan at the beginning of the year can help you start the year in the right manner.

Martin Walker of will be discussing the need to plan when trading, covering such things as your Trading Plan and what it should encompass, your Pre-Trading Preps and Post-Trading actions on a Weekly and Daily basis. Why you should formulate a Trade Plan for every trade you take and lastly, if time permits, conduct a Top Down Analysis on a currency pair or topical financial instrument so that you can see how he approaches the markets and does ‘What Ifs’ to find potential trades.

There is a charge for £22 to attend. Why? Because we’re not selling anything. Its proper educational content rather than a slick sales pitch in the hope to up-sell you something. Furthermore the sessions will be recorded, and as an attendee you’ll have access to the recordings and the slides afterwards.

It promises to be an enjoyable session that will help you grasp the opportunities that 2019 will present.

Trade well!
