Description

The Prodigal Love of God Conference is hosted by Dordt College and the Andreas Center for Reformed Scholarship and Service, in partnership with the Lilly Fellows Program. Through invited plenaries and panel discussions, the conference will feature conversations about the historical legacy of the Synod of Dort and the future of Protestantism as well as the opportunities facing the global church in the decades ahead. Speakers include:

Marilynne Robinson (acclaimed author, teacher at the University of Iowa Writers' Worshop, and fellow of Mansfield College, Oxford University)

James K.A. Smith (author, cultural critic, and Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College)

Richard Mouw (philosopher, scholar, author, and President Emeritus and Professor of Faith and Public Life at Fuller Theological Seminary)

Timothy George (prolific author, Dean, and Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School)

Paul Lim (award-winning historian of Reformation and post-Reformation Europe and Associate Professor of the History of Christianity at Vanderbilt Divinity School)

Suzanne McDonald (author and Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Western Theological Seminary)

Jemar Tisby (historian, writer, speaker, and president of The Witness: A Black Christian Collective)

Tish Harrison Warren (author and priest in the Anglican Church in North America)
