The practice of Presence transforms how we experience ourselves, each other and the world, in both our personal and professional lives.
What does it mean to live in ‘awakened’ consciousness in our daily lives, and what are the principles and practices that support this?
What does it mean to be fully ‘in the world, but not of it’?
During this two-day workshop we will:
- Dive into the precise practices that deepen our presence in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms.
- See how we can listen to more subtle dimensions of reality and relate more nakedly to ourselves and each other
- Enquire into our sense of purpose and calling.
- Create a space for emotional healing and integration
- Explore what it means to relate openly to world events, and build appropriate resilience
During the workshop there will be meditations, teachings, dialogues and experiential exercises.
Nicholas Janni has been studying and teaching personal and professional development for nearly forty years. In his first career he was a theatre director, studied with Jerzy Grotowski in Poland, and taught acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. His passion was helping actors cross the threshold into ‘the zone’ of inspired peak performance.
Over the last fifteen years he has worked mainly in the corporate environment and gained an international reputation for leadership training and transformational coaching in companies such as FedEx, Rolls Royce, Motorola, Teva, Amdocs and Microsoft. He has studied/practiced Zen meditation, Hawaiian Kahuna bodywork, Psychosynthesis, Kabbalah, and drumming with masters in West Africa and Japan and various martial arts
He is currently a student of spiritual teacher Thomas Hübl with whom he has been intensively studying mystical principles in a small group for the last four years, the most transformative learning period of his life. He is a key member of the Pocket Project for Collective and Intergenerational Trauma Integration.
REMARKS FROM PAST WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS:
Nicholas Janni is a superb facilitator. He has the ability to hold a large group while at the same time zeroing in on the needs of each individual in that group. I walked away from my work with him, with a deeper understanding of life and of my place in it. In addition, I gained a toolbox of methods I can use anytime, to help me come back to my center, when I veer off my course. I do not exaggerate, when I say that I now am looking at creating a technicolor life, when before, for too much of the time, I allowed it to be grey. Thanks Nicholas!
- Sonia Gluckman, Coach
My experience of attending a couple of workshops with Nicholas is he is a teacher of profound wisdom, clarity and presence. He has the capacity of working with each person in a gentle manner bringing heartfelt insights and powerful guidance to every interaction. He has helped me to go to a deeper level…I've been deeply touched by his ability of tuning deeply to everyone in a way that touches what is essential. Nicholas is a gifted and inspiring teacher.
- Vera Angelico, Architect/Artist
The workshop with Nicholas was deeply transformative for me, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to participate and experience the work he very beautifully and skillfully facilitates. The practices he taught are tools I am working with daily, and the interactions and dialogues he engaged were filled with insight, caring, and humor. (Also, he plays a mean African drum!:-) Thank you, Nicholas!
