Description

Please join Southern California's Diversity and Inclusion Group, DIG SoCal for a training on Unconscious Bias. This course is designed to enhance federal employee’s awareness of:

  • Understanding “dimensions of difference”: 8 elements of identity
  • Understanding what Unconscious Bias is and how it shows up in the workplace
  • Discussing techniques of how to manage and be aware of our own biases

The event will also provide networking opportunities for interagency collaboration and dialogue regarding diversity and inclusion issues. Expect discussion on how diversity and inclusion issues show up in our everyday lives.

This is DIG SoCal's first foray into training. Our goal is to build a portfolio of courses around diversity and inclusion issues.

The training will be facilitated by a certified Diversity and Inclusion instructor.
