Join artists and arts organizations for a community celebration to share strategies, tips, and tactics for tapping into the arts to improve gender equality in the U.S. Free and open to the public, a mix & mingle cash bar will be available. Doors open at 6:00 PM ET.

Organized by FUNKY BROWN CHICK, Inc. in partnership with Women Deliver and Busboys and Poets, during the event, FUNKY BROWN CHICK, Inc. CEO Twanna A. Hines moderates the discussion with: Isra Chaker, Oxfam​; Ingrid Zimmer, Inner City-Inner Child​; Gabrielle Ewing, National Geographic​; and Briana Green, Mamatoto Village​. Event attendees will enjoy screenings of relevant film clips and view relevant artwork.

This celebration is an official satellite event for the Women Deliver 2019 Conference taking place in Vancouver, Canada. Women Deliver is the world’s largest conference on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women in the 21st century.
