Join us for a free breakfast and program featuring Steve Pemberton, author of A Chance in the World. Steve is a visionary youth advocate, dedicated board member, and Divisional Vice President for Walgreens. He also serves as the first Chief Diversity Officer in the company’s 113-year history. Steve will be recounting his childhood experience in an abusive home and the impact that one person had in his life.

Following the keynote speaker, a program led by Kathy Konrath, MA, LCPC, LMHC and Karen Krygsheld, MSW, LCSW from Chicago Christian Counseling Center in Shererville will allow attendees to reflect upon Steve’s story and the feelings, thoughts, and experiences they encounter while working with at-risk children.
