Join us to hear from Rob Hopkins, the UK founder of the international Transition Movement.
Hosted by Transition Los Angeles, Transition Mar Vista/Venice, Transition Culver City, and the Environmental Change-Makers.
Rob will give brief remarks, to be followed by a dialog with Andy Lipkis (founder of TreePeople), D'Artagnan Scorza (Executive Director of Social Justice Learning Institute), Joanne Poyourow (Transition Los Angeles and the Environmental Change-Makers), and Meghan Sahli-Wells (Culver City Vice Mayor and Transition Team Member).
Westchester United Methodist Church. Space is limited and preregistration is required for admission.
Earlier in the afternoon, there will be a free "Just Doing Stuff" festival at the Emerson Avenue Community Garden, with live music, Transition-themed booths, demonstrations, and fun for all ages. Food will be available for purchase.
The Emerson Avenue Community Garden is located at Emerson Ave & 80th Place (across the street from the Westchester United Methodist Church). No tickets or pregistration are required for the free festival.
