Group therapy is a form of psychosocial interaction in which a small group of clients meet regularly with a therapist to talk, explore and discuss current problems with each another. Group work can be especially helpful for those individuals who have problems with interpersonal relationships. This workshop will review that basics of group therapy: types, stages of development and counseling techniques. Attendees will also have the opportunity to complete group work and to observe video interactions of group psychotherapy sessions to reinforce concepts presented throughout the day.
