The Pop-Up Prompt Club ✏️ | Creative Writing Night at Runway East

Come check out the coolest co-working space in town!
Then settle in for a session of creative writing with a surprise theme and good vibes. All levels welcome just bring a pen and a notebook! ✍️

Join us for an uplifting and imaginative evening of writing at Runway East. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or simply curious to try something new, this is a relaxed and friendly space to spark ideas, explore your creativity, and connect through storytelling.

🗓 4th December, 6–8pm

Expect fun prompts to get your imagination going. There’s absolutely no pressure to share your writing unless you fancy it. This session is all about experimenting, playing, and enjoying the process.

What to bring:
✍️ A pen and notebook (we’ll have spares!)
🍵 Tea and snacks and 🍕 Pizza included
🌈 All backgrounds & experience levels welcome

– Don’t know what to write?

Ideal.Every session comes with fresh prompts and three chances to scribble whatever your brain serves up Scenes, ideas, nonsense, emotional revelations you didn’t plan on… all welcome.

– What sort of prompts?

Anything from “write about the moon” to “why is this pigeon judging me?” to “you’re suddenly the CEO of a potato factory” Themes come from space, nature, the news, memes, or that one intrusive thought that refuses to leave.Big feelings? Great. Unhinged comedy? Also great.

– Not a writer? Think you’re “bad” at it?

Join the club. Literally.

All abilities welcome. If the prompt inspires you to write a line, draw a picture , make a list of snacks you’d rather be eating , or leave the room never to return —we support your artistic choices.

– Where do we meet?

We hope to pop up all over the shop: function rooms, pubs, cafés, co-working spaces... we’ll show up anywhere that lets us in. New sessions will be posted on all platforms (ADHD permitting) and in the WhatsApp group.
