Malik Elijah
Malik Elijah is a Maryland-born musical artist, currently residing in the Boston area, whose sound is difficult to put in a box. Pulling inspiration from a wide range of musical styles, he has something in his bag for everyone. 2022 was a year of growth for Malik, opening for EARTHGANG on their BIODEGHETTABLE tour as the Pigeons & Planes select artist, dropping sophomore mixtape DETOUR that reached 1 millions streams within the first two months of release and growing his monthly listeners from 30K to a consistent 150K+. Louie Bagz a.k.a. Louis Cooper-Machado is a local music artist with a global sense of being. Louie’s musical roots include DC Gogo, Hip Hop, Jazz, RnB, Reggae and Cuban Timba... Louie's music is captivating and thought provoking. His lyrics are optimistic and truthful, telling a story with every word.
Hailing from Prince George's County MD, Louie Bagz reps his region with pride, building bridges from Maryland to D.C and Virginia. Louies musical journey began at the young age of 3, his inspirations are deeply rooted in his upbringing. His creative prowess stems from his father who is a renowned jazz guitarist within the DMV area, and his mother who is an Emmy Award Winning film Director/producer.
NOLA
NoLa Is a Hip-Hop/Rap Artist /Producer from Northern Virginia that hopes to share his story with the masses. He has been compared to artists such as Mac Miller, Vince Staples, and Smino, his smooth catchy hooks keep people going. With his latest single “Easy Shit”, he empowers his listeners to feel confident and strong-minded.
WHYTRI
Massachusetts rapper WHYTRI began his creative work within the local dance community, but through increased exposure to the rap scene, he found a natural talent and direction for the craft. Forever ahead of his time, WHYTRI began cultivating a sound in 2017 that now has been sharpened and perfectly coined by the artist himself as “alternative-crunk.” Inspired by a variety of artists, including Ludacris, Linkin Park, Missy Elliot, System of a Down, James Brown, Tyler the Creator, and Soulja Boy (the list goes on), WHYTRI is a true pioneer for a genre that bridges the energies and musicality of heavy alternative rock and the eclectic, dirty-south crunk of the 2000s. Thus far, his career has led him to open tour stops for some of today’s most notable artists, including Rico Nasty, MAVI, IDK, Bhad Bhabie, and more. His mixtape, Collizion, surpassed a quarter of a million streams with no signs of slowing down yet. WHYTRI joined Boston Music producer Of The Year Jon Glass (BIA, J.COLE, Hopsin, and more) for a joint project, “MiMA” releasing in 2022, with a Four Date titled “Days Of Crunk”. The Pocket is a new 70-person venue, nestled within the music hub, 7DrumCity (7DC). Despite its size, The Pocket quickly established a reputation for incredible acoustics, spectacular lighting, and memorable experiences in a warm, cozy environment.
7DC is a unique music hub and incubator with 16 total rooms within two connected 3-story houses and a rear carriage house offering music lessons, rehearsal space, epic themed showcases called Flashband, a gear repair shop called Rock'n Repair, and a live music venue called The Pocket. 7DC builds culture and community in DC by supporting musicians and hobbyists in their quest to learn, rehearse, and perform.
