Event Details

Chef Andrew Le, the founder of The Pig and the Lady, returns to Kaka'ako to for a special prix fixe 5-course dinner menu for only 7 nights. The original pop-up last year was a smashing success and sparked a fledging business that has become a fixture at Honolulu farmer's markets, serving the best in Asian street food. 

the prix fixe dinner pop-up is unfettered haute cuisine sourced within the community. These exclusive dinner experiences will present Chef Andrew's repertoire that he has harnessed over the years, from his humble beginnings through the KCC Cuiinary program, to graduating at the Culinary Institute of America (C.I.A.) in upstate New York, to his role as sous chef at Mavro, and currently, working in the kitchen at Rich Table in San Francisco.

Chef Andrew has garnered some credible press attention, from this month's issue of FOOD & WINE listing The Pig and the Lady as one of the premiere eating experiences in Honolulu to him being featured on the Cooking Channel's UNIQUE EATS. And last week, Chef Andrew was bestowed with a Rising Star Award from StafChefs.com, the leading trade magazine and resource in the culinary industry. 

Chef Andrew has set aside 2013 to become a journeyman chef, in the desire to expand his skills and cooking innovation. Therefore, this is a limited opportunity, as reservations will go quickly. 

Each night will have one seating only, starting promptly at 7:30pm. The dinner is prix fixe and will be 5-courses. BYOB is encouraged. Check the blog for full menu details. Each night will have slightly different menus, pending on chef's spontaneity and curatorial discretion. Seating is very limited.

First Course:

Pa'i'ai, inamona, grape, preserved lemon, celery

Second Course:

Tangerine, scallops, sriracha, shiso

Third Course:

Handcut pasta, jidori chicken, douglas fir, chives

Fourth Course:

Catch of the Day, leeks, asian pear, pomegranate vinaigrette

Fifth Course:

Pumpkin, coffee, yogurt, peashoots, financier
