Event description

Description

Renowned storyteller and flutist, Donna Wissinger, partners with a lively story bag to mesmerize and enthrall young readers. Students laugh and learn as the story bag helps Donna tell the musical stories of The Pied Piper, Pocahontas, Pan and Syrinx, and The Lone Ranger/William Tell. Students’ imaginations soar as they find they can understand a magical creature speaking only in music, their natural curiosity is rewarded as math and science explain the sounds of the different flutes found in the stories, and the story bag shows how words and stories are full of great adventures.
