In the style of an old-fashioned comic melodrama, an intrepid librarian must save the fair hamlet of Pleasantville from the villainous Madame Gypsum and sidekick, Hench. Will our heroine save the hero and Pleasantville from their nefarious plot? Plus the Golden Oldies Variety Show. After the play, and called an ‘olio’, the second part of the evening features lively music, sketches, and recitations, as may have been performed in19th century Montana.
