Many of us have been taught to believe that herbal medicine is very complicated and that a person must have years and years of extensive training before they can use it properly. This is simply untrue. Herbal medicine does not have to be complicated to be effective. Herbal medicine is truly the people's medicine. It is simple, extremely effective and very affordable.
Take control of your own health and learn to support the health of your loved ones by learning how yo utilize the powerful herbal allies that are all around us, available to us any time. This class will teach you how to identify and use common herbal medicines that may already be growing in your own back yard.
This class looks at herbs through the lens of “spiritual herbalism”, which is a method of working with plants that acknowledges the plant as a living, intelligent being, rather than simply a collection of chemical constituents. When we work with plants in this way, their healing powers are amplified.
In this class you will learn:
• How some common herbs can help you to heal:
• Different methods of preparing these herbs. We will cover both topical and oral preparations.
• How to choose the best method of preparation based on your needs and constitution.
• How to connect with the deeper intelligence of each plant as your prepare its’ medicine.
