Overview

The Peoples' Inauguration Concert will be an expression in music of the inclusive multi-cultural values that America stands for. The Concert will feature outstanding performers representing Latino-American, Muslim-American and African-American cultures as well as traditional American protest song singers. Fearuired performers include:  including Mehmet Ali Sanlikol, a Grammy nominated Turkish-American composer; Ten Tumbao, a salsa band that rocks traditional and modern Latin-American Caribbean music;Regie Gibson, a former National Poetry Slam Individual Champion; S-Factor, a great acapella group that performs music of the African diaspora; and the Joyful Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir.

The Concert is being sponsored by The Global Citizens' Initiative, a non-profit working to address issues of human rights, poverty and global peace and justice (www.theglobalcitizensinitiative.org )and EBASS, a Boston area network of artists and musicians.

Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased through Eventbright: : https://peoplesinugurationconcert.eventbrite.com.

Those who participate in the Boston women's march will received a $5.00 discount either at the door or in advance by enetering the Eventbright Promo Code Bostonmarchers
