Description

Increasing Access to Care through Service Learning
Increasing access to care is a priority across health disciplines. Dr. Bill Piskorowski, Associate Dean for Community-Based Clinical Education at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a clinical professor of dentistry, will discuss his plans for increasing access to dental care through service learning and what lessons this innovative approach holds for public health. Dr. Piskorowski pioneered this model at the University of Michigan and will develop an enhanced model at UCLA based on previous evidence.
