Los Altos, CA
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation would like to cordially invite you to attend a guided tour through our new building at 343 Second Street in downtown Los Altos.
For more than 45 years, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation has supported organizations and leaders working to protect and restore ecosystems for a world where all families can plan for their children, and all children reach their potential. Our new building is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification and operate at NetZero energy status. We are proud to continue our longstanding support of the Los Altos community by locating our innovative new building only one block away from our current headquarters.
Tours around the building will only be available to those who register and sign-up for a time slot on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in seeing the building and not going on a guided tour, our facilities will still be open to the public from 9:00am-3:00pm. We will limit those not going on tours to explore the front rooms (Lobby, Welcome Room, Foyer, Large Meeting Room) and the courtyard.
If you are unable to attend our open house on August, 25th, we will be hosting regular scheduled tours every other Wednesday starting in September through the end of the year. Please register for a tour date on our other Eventbrite page here.
We are excited to be able to share our new facilities with the community and look forward to seeing you there!
When & Where
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation is a family foundation. We are guided by the enduring business philosophy and personal values of Lucile and David, who helped found one of the world’s leading technology companies. Today, their children and grandchildren continue to help guide the work of the Foundation.
Their approach to business and community participation has guided our philanthropy for nearly 50 years: We invest in effective organizations and leaders, collaborate with them to identify strategic solutions, and support them over time to reach our common goals.
We work on the issues our founders cared about most:
- Improving the lives of children
- Enabling the creative pursuit of science
- Advancing reproductive health
- Conserving and restoring the earth's natural systems
