About this event
Join us in celebrating the opening of The Future and Beyond, which dives into the culture of Generation Z through the talented work of four young female artists. This event takes place on Friday, Aug 5th, 2022.
You will enjoy art, music, and free refreshments at the event. A special bookmark-making workshop will be presented as well. Come explore the various activities on Aug 5th, Friday evening!
About the exhibition:
Younger generations embrace and balance multiple cultural values more than any previous generation because the internet has made it easier for them to experience racial and ethnic diversity. The four young artists featured in this exhibition grew up during the rise of online communities and social media, so the pop culture of both their own country and countries around the world has had a significant impact on their identities. The work of these artists is not limited to traditional mediums or subject matter. Instead, it explores the intersections of digital and non-digital artmaking and themes of identity relevant to today's youth.
About the opening:
There will be an opportunity to interact with art; join us in designing your very own bookmark with the guidance of one of our artists! Once finished, you can keep your work as a souvenir from the exhibit!
