Drive Oregon has experienced significant growth and change since our founding in 2011. This expansion has accelerated greatly thanks to a $1 million grant award from the U.S. Department of Energy to open an electric vehicle showcase in May 2017. As a result, our geographic reach is expanding, our member base is growing, and our mission has broadened. In the past six months we have hired four full-time and two part-time staff, more than doubling Drive Oregon's employees!
In light of this growth and broader industry trends, the time has come to "re-launch" Drive Oregon in order to better reflect our evolving role.
Join us as we celebrate Drive Oregon's success since it's founding in 2011 and toast to our new growth as we continue to promote and support the development of the electric and smart mobility industry. Executive Director Jeff Allen will be joined by Marian Hammond (Principal, Brink Communications) for the unveiling of a new look, a new name, and bold new plans for the future.
Registration is FREE for Drive Oregon members and $25 for the general public. Registration includes hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast, and local wine and beer.
The World Trade Center is conveniently located near several bus and Max lines. Parking is available under Building Two and there are also several lots within a couple of blocks from the World Trade Center. Electric Avenue is one block away from Building Two if any guest needs to charge.
