Description

Come enjoy a powerful new play written by rising LA playwright, LaDarrion Williams!

Set in 2019 in Memphis, TN, the play focuses on Tyrell James, a troubled young black man on the verge of losing himself in the harsh streets of Memphis and is mysteriously sent back to an 1800's antebellum plantation where he is subjected to learn the hardships of slavery, past mistakes and valuable life lessons that will forever change his life.

This play tackles on some important issues that are rampant in our very own community and also nation. It deals with racism, black lives matter, slavery, and sexual assault and also learning one's history.

And we want you to come celebrate with us as we celebrate Black History Month with a bang.
