The Oakland Chocolate Company Tour and Tasting

Participants will sample The Oakland Chocolate Company’s 60%, 70%, 85% and milk chocolate (45%) Jamaican origin chocolate. They will be given a taster of another origin country to compare. Each participant will also get two 1-oz bars or novelties of their choice and 2 truffles or bonbons. The presentation includes information about growing cacao in Jamaica, a bean cut test demonstration, and a facility tour.

The Oakland Chocolate Company is a small bean to bar to bonbon company using Jamaican cocoa beans exclusively. We are dedicated to helping the cacao farmers in Jamaica get their fine-flavored chocolate better known. We make mostly dark chocolate, 70 and 85%, as well as some milk chocolate. We also have vegan truffles and vegan chocolate mousse .
