Headliner: Dave Cooperman
Dave Cooperman is writing this. Dave hopes to be wealthy enough to have a creative team to write this someday, but for now, it's just him, so play along please. Dave used to travel a lot to top flight comedy venues to perform. Dave loved the audiences; audiences loved Dave - win/win. Dave performed with many big acts: Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Jim Gaffigan, Tracy Morgan, to name some. Dave watched as his friends deservedly got the big TV appearances. Dave was in the running - getting callbacks for major festivals, getting called in for readings by networks. He was seriously knocking on the door, but he was always a bridesmaid. Dave responded by becoming a groom - he got married. What's the big deal? Nothing at that point. But then he had 5 boys - 2 sets of twins. It's not like contracting a disease, but let's face it: its close. Would Dave pander to say, Reality TV by hawking his children? Do you even need to ask? The show hasn't materialized yet, so the challenges of raising these guys forced Dave off the road and into Costco. In terms of what Dave actually talks about - see the above picture. However, he also doesn't just stand there. He moves! The act is clever without being pretentious, physical without audience members wondering if he's 'on something' (ok, that could be a moot point), and crowds are typically smiling and laughing at the end of the show. Dave takes that to mean that they enjoyed themselves instead of being happy Dave is finally finished. Now that the kids are finally going to school, Dave is on the comeback trail. Dave thinks of himself as kind of like the hero of the film "Rudy"...Wait scratch that, Rudy as a player sucked. Dave thinks of himself as the hero from the film "Rocky" - getting punished beyond belief, but unwilling to give up until the bell sounds, even if it means certain brain damage and permanent injury. No wait, that's a downer. Dave thinks of himself as the Robert Redford character in the film "The Natural", he's older, has the talent to be a star - but he got shot by a psycho chick. Alright, close enough. Dave has been highlighted on the "Best of the 'Bob & Tom' show" - a huge radio show in the Midwest (later included on their "Oddballs" CD), and he was featured very recently in the Boston Comedy Festival. Feature: AJ Foster
AJ Foster began doing stand-up while attending college in Utica, NY and quickly became one of Central New York’s favorite up-and-coming comics. His ability to captivate audiences with his charm and witty observational humor makes him both lovable and relatable to people of all ages and backgrounds. AJ has opened for many of the country’s top comedians including Damon Wayans, David Alan Grier, John Heffron, DC Benny, and SNL’s Jay Pharoah. He has been featured at Gotham Comedy Club and performs at various clubs and colleges throughout the Northeast United States. He was also a semi-finalist on season 2 of MTV’s “Yo Momma”. In his young career, AJ has already experienced much success in several regional comedy competitions including champion of the 2014 Unforgettable Comedy Contest at the Syracuse Funny Bone, 2x runner up for the Funniest Person in Rochester Contest (2014, 2015), as well as runner up for 2014’s Last Comix Standing Competition at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Visit www.ajfostercomedy.com.

Emcee: Aaron David Ward
For the last 15 years, comedian Aaron David Ward, from TV’s The Glenn Slingerland Situation, has entertained audiences from New Hampshire to California by getting them to laugh and think at his self-deprecating, socio-political, and culturally critical comedy. He opens his heart, mind, and soul to fans during each trip deep inside his mind for a funny, honest, and twisted look at his concerns, disappointments, doubts, fears, and worries. You get to see a tug of war between the emotional and intellectual brains when Aaron is on stage. Aaron has performed throughout the Northeast and Midwest, appeared in the Boston Comedy Festival, Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival, Cape May Comedy Festival, and in several movies including What I See In The Dark and Aftermath as well as a pilot for MTV and VH1 entitled The List. If you are a fan of funny, introspective, and smart stand up comedy, then Aaron David Ward is your kind of comedian! See Aaron on The Not Too Far From Home Comedy Tour coming to a city, town, and village near you soon! Visit www.aarondavidward.com.

The Venue: Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms
Orange County Distillery is the result of what happens when two small business owners have the same long four month off-season. What started as an off the hip idea at a Christmas party very quickly turned into something real, more than just an idea. That idea turned into an LLC, which turned a run down one-hundred year old barn being used for tractor and spare parts storage into a distillery, which turned a working vegetable farm into a farm that also fronts as a distillery farm. Orange County Distillery was founded by John Glebocki and Bryan Ensall. Co-Owner and Co-Founder John Glebocki is the owner of J. Glebocki Farms, a fifth-generation farm in Goshen, New York. Co-Owner and Co-Founder Bryan Ensall is the owner of a lawn care franchise that services all of Orange County, New York. Together, these two small business owners somehow found the spare time away from their full-time jobs to build the distillery from the ground up on the property of J. Glebocki Farms, almost entirely with their own two hands (the only thing they chose not to do themselves was install the electrical panel board). John and Bryan do everything at the distillery. John is the farmer and down-n-dirty guy, in charge of everything planted and harvested. Bryan is the paperwork and reporting guy. Together they do all the mashing, fermenting, distilling, aging and bottling. There really isn't anything these two don't do here. The two of them are also family men, both married (with very supportive wives!) and both with children. In fact, you'll almost always run into one of the children or wives when you come visit. We're not a faceless company here, we're family and business men who live and work right here in Orange County, New York. Orange County Distillery doesn't pretend to be something it's not. We're not a huge operation. In fact, almost all of our operations take place within a small 1600 square foot barn. But what that allows us to do is learn this craft at our pace on our terms. No one telling us to hurry up and sell before we're ready. We'll bottle and sell our spirits only when we are completely sure that you'll not only want to buy one bottle, you'll want to come back and buy another. So come take a look, see our farm, try our spirits. If you want white-walls and granite counter tops while you sample spirits, we might not be your place. But if you want to see a true farm distillery, a true farm to bottle operation, then stop on by. Visit orangecountydistillery.com/brownbarnfarms.
