Event description
This webinar will provide timely and relevant information to help nonprofits navigate the current insurance marketplace.

About this event

The market for nonprofit insurance is in crisis. In what could be labeled as ˜the perfect storm", nonprofits providing health and human services in our communities are battling against a hardening property and casualty insurance market, a restriction of appetite among insurers who have traditionally supported the space, and continued stresses relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, through which many nonprofits are providing frontline public services. With no end to this hard market in sight, this webinar will provide timely and relevant information to help nonprofits navigate the current marketplace.

Key Takeaways:

Attendees will learn:

  • The driving factors behind the current market conditions impacting the nonprofit sector
  • How to position your organization for the best possible renewal outcome
  • Risk management best practices overview
  • How to determine if an alternative solution like a risk retention group is right for your organization
  • How to get involved in advocacy opportunities

This workshop will be presented by Julie Bernhard, Director of Lead Management & Referrals, Nonprofits Insurance Alliance.

Participants who complete the post-session evaluation can receive a PDF copy of the presentation.

Area of Excellence: Advocacy & Strategic Alliances and Financial Management
