About this Event

As a curator of African, contemporary, and self-taught art, William Fagaly's career spanned 50 years at the New Orleans Museum of Art. In his new book, The Nightcrawler King , Fagaly provides a rare and revealing look into the world of art curation, specifically adding a unique perspective to the history of New Orleans that resonates throughout the world. As an art curator, Fagaly is responsible for organizing over 90 exhibitions and publishing over 100 articles.

Join us on Wednesday, April 14 as we welcome William Fagaly to the Beauregard-Keyes house. He will share excerpts from his book and recount stories that bring local New Orleans personalities to life! A question and answer period will follow the lecture.

Seating at this lecture will be limited and attendees must register in advance through Eventbrite. If you register, but are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so others may join. Guests will be asked to remain socially distanced and are required to wear a mask.

Donations to the house supporting this and future lectures are humbly accepted and can be made through the link as well.

The lecture will also be live-streamed to our Facebook page. If you are unable to attend in person, watch from home! (View Here)
