On the night of the "Redentore" in Venice, the Pink Floyd performed on a floating stage located in front of S. Mark's Square. In front of them over 250.000 people and on TV live worldwide, 20 countries and over 100 million viewers. 25 years later, the Cultural Association Floydseum intends to celebrate the show that has gone down in history as one of the greatest ever organized, with the installation of a large thematic exhibition and a series of events which will be revealed in the coming months.
Set within the breath-taking former Gothic-Romanesque church of Santa Marta, in the beautiful area of the Port of Venice is easily reached on foot from the railway station of Saint Lucia and Piazzale Roma, or with shipping lines 41 and 51, stop Santa Marta. What is known to history as "the show of the century" will be celebrated through the proposition of rare material.
