The Next Wave with Greg Long
Greg Long is recognized as one of the best and most influential big-wave surfers in the world, having won multiple big-wave titles, leading the renaissance of extreme paddle-in surfing, and pioneering some of the most remote and daunting surf breaks on the planet.
Join Greg as he shares his global experiences witnessing the awe-inspiring majesty of the oceans and their waves. More importantly, listen to his first-hand accounts relating the unfolding tragedies that are accelerating in every corner of our oceans and along our coastlines.
What Greg has witnessed has had a profound affect on his sense of purpose. Today finds him shifting his primary focus from riding waves to the mission of raising awareness and seeking action on behalf of the fragile health of our planet’s oceans.
This is guaranteed to be an inspiring evening of adventure storytelling, a global update on the impact mankind is having upon the natural world and what we can all do to help re-instate the harmonious balance we are meant to have with our planet.
Special Guest Musical Performance during the hosted reception.
