Patron of the Arts invites you to join us for an evening of networking and inspiring ideas. Light refreshments will be provided by Canon USA

The New World of Self Distribution for Independent Filmmakers
Times are changing, and opportunities for independent filmmakers are growing quickly!  In past years, a traditional distributor was needed to get our movies into theaters, stores and on VOD. But now gatekeepers are no longer required for many platforms, and filmmakers can take control of their film's destiny.  Please join us for an enlightening night of conversation with POTA founder Cindy Baer, who will discuss the new world of self-distribution options, costs, and aggregators.  Our guest speaker will be Shiron Bell, Managing Director of Quiver Digital, who will talk about deliverables and answer questions about aggregation.

7-7:30pm  Light Refreshments
7:30-9pm  Presentation, Q&A, Guest Speaker
9-9:30pm  Networking

**SPACE IS LIMITED.  If you RSVP and cannot attend, we require 24 hours notice so that your seat may be given to someone on the waiting list.

PARKING: Parking is available and free at 7:00 on Sunset, before 7:00 parking on Gordon or Gower has both metered till 8:00pm and free spots

Shiron Bell is the Managing Director of Quiver Digital, which is an agrregator that enables filmmakers to distribute their movies to worldwide audiences via video-on-demand retailers like iTunes, GooglePlay and Netflix.  They charge a flat fee and filmmakers keep 100% of the revenue.
