Event description

Description

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 6:30pm the Next Generation Committee of the NAACP Mid-Manhattan Branch will host The New Movement: An NAACP Initiative at The Salvation Army in Harlem. This will be the inaugural forum where younger leaders, and established leadership among NAACP members, will engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas and solutions.

The Next Generation Committee recognizes that this is a critical time in American history where the will to “make things happen” is seemingly more important than political party affiliation. We want to position The New Movement: An NAACP Initiative as a powerful platform in guiding our future.

We invite everyone to attend; however, we are specifically asking young professionals who are members of all organizations to join us in this solutions-oriented community discussion.

Cheers,

Roscoe Boyd II and Shanelle Washington, Committee Co-chairs

LaShanda Myers, Julian Hill and Paul Staley, Committee Members
