About The Band
R. Moon e, guitar, vocals, harmonica and percussion. I was the lead guitarist and vocalist with the New Improved Jook Savages in the 60's band played many of the Acid Tests with the Grateful Dead. The Mothers of Invention were fans and friends. We played the Fillmore and other venues with the Airplane, Quicksilver, The Charlatans etc. back then. I am also the writer and producer of The New Improved Night Nurses. I have recorded and produced albums for Liko Martin, Eugene Lesser and David Morton.
Vocalist Kim Cataluna has sung with Van Morrison, Todd Rundgren, & Quicksilver Messanger Service. Kim has been in a million bands from Jazz to funk to gospel to rock. She says, I've played every dive & dump you can imagine & in between it all I have had 10 min. of whatever!
On vocals and lead guitar, TNIRME features Jimi James, an exceptional guitarist and singer as well as song writer. Jimi plays many venues around the bay. We performed at the Sausalito Blues Festival, where Jimi headlined one of the Friday night concerts. He has played with John Lee Hooker and many bands around the Bay Area.
On bass Russ Whitehead one of the greats and has played with too many people to mention.
On drums we have Bill ‘the duck’ Bowen. We've worked together for 40 years.
