Event description

Description

In the past year, a record number of asylum seekers –– mainly from Central America's Northern Triangle –– have arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border. Join us on Sept. 26 for a panel discussion with Douglas Massey with comments by David Fitzgerald and Deborah Kang, and moderated by Rafael Fernández de Castro. The discussion will analyze developing border dynamics, shifts in U.S. policy and evolving Mexican responses.

The event will take place at the Deutz Room at the Institute of the Americas (map). Closest parking will be at the Pangea Parking Structure. Permits must be purchased at the top level.
