Event description
Learning our origin and legacy by dissecting and explore the life of Prophet Ibrahim AS to understand and cultivate the benefits.

About this event

Course Overview

Everyone of us will leave a legacy. Some will be worth remembering and some will be worth forgetting. Most of the time, the famous and the influential will always grab our attention regardless of the way they lived their lives.

Our legacy is not just about us, our families and what we have created as an individual or even as a unit but in truth, it is part of a bigger narrative. Our story is never just about ourselves. There have always been events, actions and people who intersect with our story and our history. Our challenge is to see the larger narrative, recognising how others have shaped us and how we can impact others.

To dissect and learn the life of Prophet Ibrahim AS and the legacy that he has left behind, is the way to understand the origins of our blessed religion. In order to understand and cultivate the benefits, we must first come to the plane of understanding and then comes the commitment to follow the footsteps of the all Prophets before us.

This is our origins, this is our legacy. This is Islam from the very beginning.

What you will learn:

1) The stages of life of Prophet Ibrahim AS and understanding it in the context of the current world and also how it impacted and motivated our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW through out his journey which was full of obstacles and test.

2) The words and duá of Prophet Ibrahim AS that has been etched and recorded to be the verses of the Holy Quran and How Allah SWT time and time again accepted the request and assistance whenever Prophet Ibrahim AS raised his hands.

3) Learning process of Prophetic mentoring which is divine for those who seek to find lessons on how to be a good son or to be a good husband or simply on how to be a good slave of Allah SWT

This is a course like no other. This is your origins, your DNA.

Please note that this is a half-day seminar in a professional university settings. You will get to interact with the speaker and also get to participate in group discussions. You will be provided with the course E-book prior to the course and it is encourage for you to bring your computer/tablet on the day to review the ebook during the seminar, or you can opt to print them instead.

We will not have any hard copy or any printed of the E-book on the day and we will not be supplying any stationeries. So please come prepared.

Age requirements

Although we would like to encourage that this event to be a family affair, but due to the lack of resources, we are unable to prepare a mother's room and allocate a children section just yet. InshaAllah in the future when we have more resources and more volunteers, we will then look forward to make this event a child-friendly enviroment.

At this point, the seminar is suitable only from age 12 and above.
