The Muddy Puddles Mess Fest 2015
Event Information
Description
The Muddy Puddles Project is a celebration of kids being kids, in honor of those that can't.
At its core, The Muddy Puddles Project is a vehicle to remind parents to stop sweating the small stuff; but it is also a means to raise money for the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation and co-fund childhood cancer research with their charity partners, Solving Kids' Cancer. After Ty lost his battle with cancer, his parents committed to finding ways to fund innovative research geared toward safer, more effective treatment of various childhood cancers.
As part of these fundraising efforts, the TLC Foundation has teamed up with their friends at Kiwi Country Day Camp to host their annual "Mess Fest!"
The Muddy Puddles “Mess Fest” is a huge, annual event in the tri-state area. The format for the “Mess Fest” event is similar to a carnival with various tented areas and a wide range of fun family activities including swimming, paddle boats, a climbing wall, ziplines, bungee jumping, treasure hunts, dunk tanks, a whipped cream pie toss, the Morgan Stanley Slopstacle course, splatter paint, glitter crafts, food fights, musical performances, a rescue animal exhibit, TY-die t-shirts, pie eating contests, bingo, raffles, bounce houses by Jumpin' Jakes, tons of other activities and hundreds of kid-friendly prizes (and of course, don't forget the giant muddy puddles for jumping and a fire truck to hose kids off).
DO THE DIRTY DUNK! We will award FREE ADMISSION to each participant who signs up for the Dirty Dunk. There is a minimum fundraising requirement of $100 per individual (for example, if your entire family of 4 creates a team, set your goal at $400). At the Mess Fest, we reserved 1PM – 2PM for all participants to jump in the mud, and our professional photographers will be on-hand to award you with a high-resolution photo! Sign-up is easy, just visit www.crowdrise.com/dirtydunk2015.

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking at Kiwi Country Day Camp is limited to handicapped only. All others will park off-site at the Mahopac High School where several shuttle buses will be transporting attendees. There is also a shuttle bus that will provide transportation from Croton Falls Train Station/Metro North for those attendees who choose to travel by train.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
A change of clothes is a good idea, and swimsuits/towels. Coolers are not permitted.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Email us at thetlcfoundation@gmail.com with any questions.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES! Printed tickets will help you avoid long lines. Although we will have a list of all ticketed attendees in case you do forget your ticket; printed tickets will allow you fast and easy check-in at the parking lot (before you even get on the shuttle).
Thank you to our incredible sponsors for helping make this happen!
