About this event

The Most Furious and Killing Weapons: The History of Weapons and Warfare Symposium is the fourth ‘New Voices in the History of War’ event, hosted by the Society for the History of War, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Sheffield.

Join us to hear the latest research on weapons and warfare across a millennium from armour in medieval Europe to uncrewed aerial weapons in the twenty-first century.

Followed by a roundtable on public histories of weapons and warfare with experts from the Royal Armouries, Sussex University and George Mason University.
