Are you looking for a more flexible way to stay in the workforce while raising a family? Do you work from home and feel secluded and without a network? Did you know a mom who is an entrepreneur is also called a Mompreneur, and WBCNA has a group just for you??
Not that you needed to be reminded, but not only are moms awesome but moms have a natural ability to run a business – after all you run your household every day.
So, whether you are a full-fledged Mompreneur, or if you are striving to be one, this monthly networking event is for you. Join us monthly for WBCNA’s “The Mompreneurs” meeting where mompreneurs connect, grow and become inspired – by each other.
What is The Mompreneur Monthly Meeting?
Each month, we’ll introduce you to a successful Mompreneur who will lead us in a group discussion on what makes her successful. As a result, you’ll not only work ON your business, but get to know other amazing Mompreneurs while:
• Getting Inspired
• Building strong relationships
• Seeking advice on how to juggle it all
• Letting go of the mom guilt – and start focusing on your business
• Networking, networking, networking with other mompreneurs
January's Featured Speaker:
owner of Professional Fire & Security
A mom of “mature age” having only one kid (a boy-age 12), Kathy manages early puberty while having hot flashes. She is a wife and a business owner (daring to run a company with her husband and still here to tell about it - and he is too!).
Prior to joining the family business, she managed a career in publishing for 21 years serving as Editorial Director of Sew Beautiful magazine.
In August of this year, Kathy left full time business life to embark on a challenging, yet vastly rewarding adventure of home schooling and loves it!
Needless to say, these many experiences and adventures have taught her great lessons, all of which have contributed to the process of finding the secret of restful work.
This meeting is casual– so bring your lunch to enjoy during the meeting.
