"The Mom I Want To Be" Workshop
Sat, May 13, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM CDT
Do you ever feel like you're just failing at this motherhood thing? Like you did NOT get the "perfect parent" gene?...(as if that exsisted) Or like you had a different idea of what motherhood was actually going to be like? And it didn't involve so many fruit snacks? Do you ever feel like media, society, culture, mom-bloggers, grandmas at the grocery store are JUDGING you and your parenting choices 24/7?!
Good news - this is normal! It's also absolutely acceptable to want better for you and your kiddos. Maybe you need to clarify some values and beliefs you'd had about mommyhood your whole life. Maybe you need to build your village and meet moms you'd actually want to be friends with off the playground. Then this workshop is for YOU!
We want to spend time with fellow moms, or soon-to-be moms, exploring what motherhood means to you, to discover what makes us exactly what our families need and to identify goals we have to help us along on this crazy thing called parenting. Understanding that we can choose authenticity over cookie-cutter mothering, imperfection over pinterest (no offense pinterest but you make it haaardd sometimes).
You will leave this workshop with clarity on what's important to you, what strengths make you the best mom for your babies - or big kids, and a morning of community, laughter and creativity!
Limited seating available. Early Bird pricing before April 30th. Refreshments, including light breakfast items and coffee (duh), included. Buy a ticket for a friend or a co-parent at a discount - although workshop is designed around moms, dads can benefit from all of our activities too.
