There are so many reasons moms make the best kind of entrepreneur, but one of our favorites is because they want it more than most. Moms (and women in general) have been fighting to be taken seriously and treated equally in the workplace for decades. According to Forbes, about 30% of businesses in the U.S. are owned by women — only 2% break $1 million in revenue. This year, The Mom Economy wants to change that.
Enter, The Mom Economy x Shopify: Mothers Mercado 2019. This one-day-only experience will showcase a roster of incredible mother-owned brands. There is a little something for everyone.
Guests will be greeted with a passport and urged to explore SHOWFIELDS and hit all the brand experiences and kid-friendly activities. Shopping categories will range from decor to womenswear to wellness.
In addition to scoring unique mother-run gifts, you’ll also be supporting female mother owned business owners, with every purchase. 20% of all the profits will go to The Mom Economy (501c3) to provide more opportunities for mothers to scale their business practices.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, all ages are welcome we will have family friendly activities.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We reccomend Uber, Lyft or public transportation.
Is there a cost to the event?
No, but we are asking for donations to The Mom Economy a 501c3 organization creating opportunities for mother-owned businesses.
