About the Speaker
Katie thrives on being productively busy. She relishes in the grind of entrepreneurship that keeps her constantly moving and founded Kmotion Design in 2008. She is motivated by client success, employees who feel appreciated and generally making things happen.
A 15-year veteran of the website industry, Katie built and manages an intentionally small team specializing in building custom websites and apps from strategy through design and development. Her passion for the user experience helps her clients succeed through better web methods, conversion strategies and marketing.
Constantly reading about the latest technology, design trends, marketing techniques and anything else she can find, Katie refuses to stop learning. With close client relationships and the flexibility to choose with whom she works, her genuine care for her clients is undeniable.
Katie graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design and has called Grand Rapids home ever since. Not only is she busy running KMotion, she also has a daughter to raise and a husband to take care of. If you don’t see her in the office, check the gym, where she will likely be found embracing another challenging passion: CrossFit.
