The Mingle - a Monthly Party for EVERYONE!

Welcome to The Mingle, our first monthly party at the Speakeasy at Slyboro Ciderhouse. This is an opportunity to make new friends; pretend you're a bootlegger hiding from the Feds; and indulge in some yummy drinks and complimentary food in an extraordinary and historic setting: a converted cold storage barn from 1935.

To get in, you will need to buy a ticket in advance and know the password. The password is Dorothy. When you arrive, you’ll see a small panel in the wall of the barn. Open the latch and knock loudly on inner door. When the bouncer opens the hatch to speak to you, identify yourself and say you’re, “a friend of Dorothy.” If you are on the list and know the password you may proceed to the next door which will bring you to a dark coatroom. Hang your coat and wipe your feet. Below a red light in front of you is a giant wooden door with a heavy latch. To open it, you must pull hard and fast. Viola! Welcome to the Speakeasy at Slyboro Ciderhouse! You made it!

Because you’ll need to drive to get here and booze and driving are a no-no, we encourage you to bring a designated driver. To thank your “DD,” we’re giving them a $10 voucher to use for Hicks Orchard apples, cider donuts, homemade fudge, or fresh-pressed cider. (They will still need a ticket to get in however.)

This is a queer-friendly space. All are welcome. Just remember you bring the fun. Bring friends. But do get your tickets now (and save $5). We’re capping this event at 50 people.
